San Marcos -June 20, 2017— The USSSA Pride completed a two-game sweep of the Charge Tuesday night by tallying a lopsided 16-2 victory at Bobcat Softball Stadium in San Marcos.
Based in Viera, Florida, the Pride tallied five runs over the first two frames and then exploded for seven more in the third to seize a commanding 12-0 lead.
Kylee Lahners put Texas (7-6) on the board with an RBI single in the bottom of the third, and Lauren Haeger belted a solo home run one inning later.
