Kissimmee, FL- The USSSA Pride signed draftee and Missouri pitcher Chelsea Thomas to a two year deal today. Thomas was selected 20th overall by the Pride in the 2013 NPF Draft. As quoted from the Osceola County Website: "Osceola Board of County Commissioners proclaimed USSSA Florida Pride Day on Monday during a meeting in which Commissioner Frank Attkisson had made a special presentation. The Carolina Diamonds uses big second inning to beat the USSSA Pride, 11-2

Baton Rouge, LA- The USSSA Pride and the Carolina Diamonds kicked off Saturdays double header at noon at LSU Tiger Stadium in front of an anxious crowd of over 500. It was a big day of LSU's faithful as they gathered to see Brittany Mack pitch the second game for the Pride and see her back on the mound in tiger stadium. In the first game, the Pride sent Danielle Lawrie to the mound to face the Diamonds Angel Bunner.
