Columbus, OH – July 12, 2014 - The Akron Racers headed to Columbus, Ohio for the inaugural Akron Racers Classic at Berliner Park. Lannah Campbell made her first professional start for the Racers, throwing one inning, and allowing five runs on six hits, and recording the loss. Madison Shipman proved to be too much for the Racers, going 3 for 4 at the plate and hitting two home runs. Her 3 run home run in the first inning gave the Pride a lead that they wouldn’t relinquish. Washington, PA- July 7, 2014 - Pennsylvania Rebellion pitcher Sarah Pauly thrived in the national spotlight at CONSOL Energy Park Monday as the former NPF Pitcher of the Year tossed a complete game in the Rebellion’s 1-0 win over the USSSA Pride. Pauly walked away with her third win of the season as Keilani Ricketts was tagged with the loss. Washington, PA- July 5, 2014 - The Pennsylvania Rebellion, presented by The Coury Financial Group, were defeated by the USSSA Pride and former USA Olympian Cat Osterman as she hurled a no-hit, no-run performance for the USSSA Pride. Rebellion starter Dallas Escobedo suffered the 7-0 defeat. The Pride tried to light up the scoreboard early in the top of the second when catcher Kristin Sandberg smacked a fly into deep left-center.
