LSU’s McDonald To Join USSSA Florida Pride


By Clyde Verdin BATON ROUGE, La. –April 10, 2014- After a year off, second-year LSU volunteer assistant coach Sharonda McDonald will make her return to National Pro Fastpitch this summer as a member of the USSSA Florida Pride the organization announced today. McDonald, a veteran coach and former NPF All-Star, was last with the Akron Racers for three seasons from 2010-12 where she earned the NPF’s Golden Spikes award after hitting .303 on the year with 13 stolen bases for Akron.
