USSSA Pride Announce 2016 Fall Tour

Kissimmee, FL-September 12, 2016-USSSA is pleased to announce that the 2016 Pride Fall Tour is back! This September, the USSSA Pride will be making their way northeast to get USSSA and the NPF back on the map during the off-season for a chance to promote the league in front of the biggest softball fans. Tuscaloosa, AL-August 21, 2016 – Whatever chance the Akron Racers had of knocking off the top-seeded USSSA Pride in the semifinal round of the NPF Championship Series dissipated in a long sixth inning Sunday at Rhoads Stadium. A quartet of Akron pitchers threw a total of 56 pitches in the inning as the Pride batted around in a revolving-door attack to score four runs on the way to a 6-2 victory. Pride drop second straight shut-out in 3-0 loss

Kissimmee, FL—August 3, 2016—The USSSA Pride dropped their second game in a row as they lost their series opener to the Chicago Bandits. Starting Pride pitcher Chelsea Thomas got the loss in the 3-0 decision while the Bandits starter Lacey Waldrop picked up the win. The Bandits put a runner on the bases in every inning, giving them plenty of opportunities to score runs. Errors were costly for the Pride in this contest. Kissimmee, FL- July 28, 2016-The USSSA Florida Pride took both games of a double header against the Dallas Charge on Thursday night. Game one ended with a final score of 2-0, while game two was decided by a score of 6-4. With the wins the Pride improved to 27-10 on the season. Game one was close until the fourth. Powerhandz player of the game Sierra Romero (2-for-3) secured the win with a timely two-run bomb that gave the Pride a 2-0 lead.
