  Kissimmee, FL- August 11, 2016- With 36 wins on the season, the USSSA Pride clenched their third consecutive regular season championship (2014, 2015, 2016) and earned the top seed in this month’s NPF Championship Series. Since 2009, the USSSA Florida Pride has claimed the regular season title five times in the seven years they’ve been a part of the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) League. Kissimmee, FL—August 8, 2016—Chelsea Goodacre was unstoppable in the USSSA Pride’s final regular season series opener of 2016. Goodacre went 3-3 with three home runs off of three different Akron pitchers. Of her team’s seven runs, Goodacre scored three of them and brought in five. Things started off hot in the first inning. After putting herself on with a walk, Megan Wiggins was thrown out stealing during Kelly Kretschman’s at-bat. Kissimmee, FL—August 5, 2016—The USSSA Pride and the Chicago Bandits faced off in a game for the ages, going deep into extra innings in the Bandits’ final home game of the regular season. The Bandits finally won in the 12th inning when Megan Blank hit a walk-off home run to score two and win the game 4-3. After the Pride dropped an avalanche of 13 hits on the Bandits in game two, there were 15 combined hits in tonight’s contest. Kissimmee, FL—August 2, 2016—The Pride dropped their series finale in Tallahassee to the Scrap Yard Dawgs in a tight 1-0 ball game. The Dawgs scored the only run of the game in the first inning, and offenses for both teams were quiet following the run. The Pride offense was largely quiet for a majority of the game. The picked up only three hits over all seven innings and got just five runners on base. Rookie Haylie McCleney, Shelby Pendley and Hallie Wilson racked up the only Pride hits of the game.
