Legacy is defined as anything handed down from the past, as from an ancestor or predecessor. In sports, we often measure an athlete’s legacy by how she impacted the game and people around her. Kissimmee, FL--February 24, 2015--As we approach the 2015 National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) season, six year USSSA Florida Pride veteran Caitlin Lowe has decided to announce her retirement from the NPF. Lowe played every one of her professional innings with the USSSA Pride. In her six seasons, she added three NPF regular season championships, three NPF Championship Series titles, and a 2012 NPF Player of the Year title to a resume that already included four NCAA All-American awards, two NCAA National Championships and an Olympic silver medal. Pride Add Pitching Depth with Signing of Andi Williamson

Kissimmee, FL—January 30, 2015--The USSSA Florida Pride announced on Friday the trade for former National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) Rookie of the Year Andi Williamson. The Pride traded utility player Alexa Peterson and the 25th overall pick in the 2015 NPF Draft to the Pennsylvania Rebellion for the rights to Williamson. Diamond Renews as Official Softball of the NPF

Nashville, TN – January 26, 2015 - National Pro Fastpitch announced an agreement between the league and Diamond Sports that extends the sporting goods manufacturer as the Official Ball of the NPF through the 2017 season. Diamond became the Official Ball of the NPF in 2006. The NPF 2015 season will mark the 10th anniversary of the NPF/Diamond relationship. Kissimmee, FL---The USSSA Florida Pride announced on Thursday the trade for former National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) Player of the Year Megan Wiggins. The Pride traded catcher Kristyn Sandberg, the sixth and 14th overall picks in the 2015 NPF Draft to the Pennsylvania Rebellion for Wiggins and the 11th overall pick in the 2015 NPF Draft.
