USSSA Pride Announce Mike Davenport as Head Coach

Kissimmee, FL--The USSSA Florida Pride have named Mike Davenport as head coach for the 2015 National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) season. Davenport, who is currently the head coach at the University of North Georgia (UNG), was an assistant coach on the Pride’s 2014 NPF championship team. USSSA Pride to Play Series in Kansas City

Kissimmee, FL---The USSSA Florida Pride will play their first home series of the 2015 National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) season against the Dallas Charge on June 11th and 12th in Kansas City, KS. This marks the first time a NPF series will be played during the Top Gun Invitational youth tournament and in the Kansas City metro area. The Kansas and Missouri area features a large fastpitch community as well as the Top Gun Invitational, one of the premiere youth fastpitch tournaments in the country that features over 110 youth teams. Hello Pride fans… Yes I realize I skipped a month and this is 4 days past due as well! I am sorry to keep you all waiting SO long. However, my other job (coaching) has consumed my time and my brain! When February rolled around, getting ready for the first weekend of games kept me busy. Kissimmee, FL--February 24, 2015--As we approach the 2015 National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) season, six year USSSA Florida Pride veteran Caitlin Lowe has decided to announce her retirement from the NPF. Lowe played every one of her professional innings with the USSSA Pride. In her six seasons, she added three NPF regular season championships, three NPF Championship Series titles, and a 2012 NPF Player of the Year title to a resume that already included four NCAA All-American awards, two NCAA National Championships and an Olympic silver medal.
