Kissimmee, FL – August 10, 2013- It was another great night of softball at Osceola County Stadium Saturday night as the USSSA Pride won both games of a double header against the NY/NJ Comets, sweeping the four-game series. Kissimmee, FL- August 9, 2013- The USSSA Pride recorded their 30th win of the season on Friday night with a 4-0 win over the NY/NJ Comets at Osceola County Stadium in the second game of a four game series in Kissimmee. Cat Osterman (16-2) was dominant once again in the circle for the Pride, allowing only one hit and recording 16 strikeouts. It was Ostermans league leading 16th win of the season. Kissimmee, FL – August 8, 2013 - The USSSA Pride recorded their 29th win of the season with a 4-2 victory over the NY/NJ Comets at Osceola County Stadium Thursday night in game one of the four-game series, their final home series of the season. Pride pitcher Sarah Pauly shined against NY/NJ’s Angel Bunner, allowing only five hits and dishing out ten strikeouts in seven complete innings. Game 1 Boxscore Pride: 8 Comets: 7 In the first game of a double header on Monday night, The USSSA Pride (2-0) and the NY/NJ Comets (0-2) traded the lead four times, but the USSSA Pride ended up on top with an 8-7 win over the NY/NJ Comets on a walk off two run home run by Ashley Charters. The USSSA Pride were led by a flawless day at the dish by Natasha Watley, who went 3-3 against the Comets' pitching. Beth Torina Steps Down as Head Coach of USSSA Pride

Kissimmee, FL- USSSA Pride General Manager Don DeDonatis announced this morning that Beth Torina is stepping down as the Head Coach of the USSSA Pride. “Due to personal reasons I will step down as the head coach of the USSSA pride this summer.
