Pride slug their way through rout of Bandits

Kissimmee, FL—June 28, 2016—The first game of the season between the USSSA Pride and the Chicago Bandits looked to be a pitchers duel early in the game. That changed in the sixth inning after the Pride sent three hits over the fence to take a 10-0 lead and solidify their fourteenth win of the season. Pride starting pitcher Jordan Taylor had a good showing for her former home field in Ann Arbor. She allowed no hits in three innings pitched, delivering five strikeouts in 11 batters faced. Pride claw their way back to defeat the Racers

Kissimmee, FL—June 27, 2016—It was a hard-fought game for the USSSA Pride that ended in a 5-4 win. The first game of the Michigan series was the third consecutive win against the Akron Racers and the sixth consecutive win overall. The Pride trailed the Racers for most of the game, chipping away one run at a time. They went down early after the Racers scored two runs in the top of the first inning. The Pride got the runs back in the second off a pair of hits from Amanda Kamekona and Chelsea Goodacre.
