New Format will eliminate 1-4 games from overall Schedule Nashville, TN - National Pro Fastpitch announced today the schedule for the 2013 Championship Series. The Series will return to The Ballpark at Rosemont in Rosemont, IL for the second year in a row and the final year of a two year contract for the Championship. The Championship Series is the league’s culmination of the regular season and includes all four of the affiliate league teams. NPF’s Ticket Refund Policy as it relates to the cancellation of the final game(s) of the Championship Series due to inclement weather is written on the back of each ticket and on the website. The policy is as follows: “National Pro Fastpitch Conditions of Sale and Policies: All sales are final. No refunds, no exchanges. NPF Season Ends Without Champion

The season ended as scheduled Sunday for National Pro Fastpitch. But it ended without a champion for the first time in the nine-year history of the women's professional softball league because of weather delays and what the league cited as scheduling conflicts for players on both teams. Rain initially delayed Sunday's second game in a best-of-three championship series between the Chicago Bandits and USSSA Pride from 2:30 p.m. CT to 6 p.m., the latter start time was originally assigned to a third game, if one was needed to break a tie and settle the series.
