LOS ANGELES - Senior B.B. Bates hit a two-run homer for the Bruins, and following a shaky first inning, sophomore Ally Carda and junior Jessica Hall shut down the National Professional Fastpitch All-Stars in a 6-3 loss at Easton Stadium on Saturday. The NPF All-Stars, in its third season of the Back to School Tour, is 58-3 overall and 17-2 this year. The NPF squad included former Bruins GiOnna DiSalvatore and Andrea Duran. BATON ROUGE – The NPF All-Stars defeated the LSU softball team by a 7-2 margin during an exhibition game Friday at Tiger Park which featured a pitching match-up between former NFCA All-American teammates Rachele Fico and Brittany Mack. Mack faced her former team and looked sharp throughout. She allowed only two runs on five hits over 6.1 innings of work. ANN ARBOR, Mich. --Senior second baseman Ashley Lane (Escondido, Calif./Escondido) drew a bases loaded walk in the seventh inning to bring home the winning run as the University of Michigan softball team rallied for a 3-2 win over the NPF All-Stars on Thursday night (Oct. 4) at the Wilpon Complex, home of Alumni Field. NPF All-Stars Defeat Bulldogs, 6-1


ATHENS, Ga. – The National Pro Fastpitch brought its 2011 Back-To-School Tour to the University of Georgia on Thursday and the All-Stars defeated the Bulldogs, 6-1, at Jack Turner Softball Stadium. In its second year, the NPF's Back-To-School Tour was making it second trip to the Classic City and in this year's meeting the All-Stars pulled out the victory with two runs in both the sixth and seventh innings to improve to 11-0 on the tour.
