Kissimmee, FL—July 5, 2016—Home runs worked as bookend for the Pride as they slugged their way to a 13-10 victory in Rosemont, IL against the Chicago Bandits. The Pride scored runs in bulk, collecting two or more runs in all but one inning in which they scored. Sierra Romero (2-5, 3 RBI) got things started in the first inning with a three-run blast over the left field fence. Megan Wiggins and Missy Taukeiaho also went long, leading the Pride to 13 runs on 17 hits. The victory was a group effort, as seven members of the Pride roster had at least one RBI. USSSA Pride Defeat Akron Racers 4-1 in Game Two at Firestone Stadium

Akron, OH- June 25, 2016-The USSSA Pride improved to 12-3 on the season with a 4-1 win over the Akron Racers Sunday night. Pride right fielder, Kelly Kretschman wasted no time in the first and recorded her third home run of the season to give the Pride an early 1-0 lead. In the top of the second, GiOnna DiSalvatore led-off with a hard hit single up the middle. The Racers almost turned two following a hard hit grounder by Chelsea Goodacre. USSSA Pride Defeat Dawgs 8-3 in Game Two


Kissimmee, FL — June 10th – The Pride took game two of their four-game series with the Scrap Yard Dawgs with an 8-3 win. Starting pitcher and Player of the Game Keilani Ricketts got the win to start the 2016 season at 1-0. Florida jumped on the Dawgs early following a leadoff triple from Megan Wiggins and a subsequent sacrifice fly from Kelly Kretschman. The Pride scored again in the second inning.
