USSSA Pride Announce 2016 Fall Tour

Kissimmee, FL-September 12, 2016-USSSA is pleased to announce that the 2016 Pride Fall Tour is back! This September, the USSSA Pride will be making their way northeast to get USSSA and the NPF back on the map during the off-season for a chance to promote the league in front of the biggest softball fans. Tuscaloosa, AL-August 21, 2016 – The USSSA Pride's formula for success isn't fancy: a lot of pitching and some timely hitting. The regular-season champion Pride stuck to that model to defeat the Chicago Bandits 3-1 on Sunday night at Rhoads Stadium in the opening game of the best-of-three NPF Championship Series. A crowd of 1,618 for Sunday's session assured a new playoff attendance record, with 6,070 so far. The previous record of 5,592 for the entire event was set last year in Hoover. Tuscaloosa, AL-August 21, 2016 – Whatever chance the Akron Racers had of knocking off the top-seeded USSSA Pride in the semifinal round of the NPF Championship Series dissipated in a long sixth inning Sunday at Rhoads Stadium. A quartet of Akron pitchers threw a total of 56 pitches in the inning as the Pride batted around in a revolving-door attack to score four runs on the way to a 6-2 victory. Team effort gets the win for the Pride

Kissimmee, FL—August 10—The USSSA Pride continued to display their seemingly insurmountable power on Wednesday night against the Akron Racers. Facing the Racers at the University of Notre Dame, the Pride won their 36th game of the regular season.  In the first inning cleanup hitter Lauren Chamberlain hit a two-run home run, giving the Pride a two-run lead and setting the mood for the game.
