USSSA and the Pennsylvania put on another hard fought contest in the first of two match-ups between the Pride and Rebellion in Allentown, PA. Kissimmee, FL--Jan 22, 2015-The USSSA Florida Pride announced on Thursday the trade for former National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) Player of the Year Megan Wiggins. The Pride traded catcher Kristyn Sandberg, the sixth and 14th overall picks in the 2015 NPF Draft to the Pennsylvania Rebellion for Wiggins and the 11th overall pick in the 2015 NPF Draft. ROSEMONT, Ill.-August 3, 2014–It took 10 innings and an international tie breaker (ITB) for the USSSA Florida Pride to defeat the Chicago Bandits 4-3 at The Ballpark at Rosemont in Rosemont, IL. Cat Osterman, who came into the game in the fifth inning to relieve starter Chelsea Thomas, picked up her 14th win of the season. A sacrifice fly by Kristyn Sandberg in the 10th served as the game winner. The Pride struck first as Kelly Kretschman recorded the game’s first hit, bringing Sandberg to the plate. Washington, PA –June 8, 2014- The Pennsylvania Rebellion, presented by The Coury Financial Group, closed out their inaugural season home stand with an 8-0 loss to the USSSA Pride at CONSOL Energy Park Sunday. Cat Osterman proved once again to be a workhorse in the circle, picking up her third win for USSSA.  The former NPF Pitcher of the Year allowed four hits, fanned five and tossed four shutout innings.
