USSSA Pride Announce 2016 Fall Tour

Kissimmee, FL-September 12, 2016-USSSA is pleased to announce that the 2016 Pride Fall Tour is back! This September, the USSSA Pride will be making their way northeast to get USSSA and the NPF back on the map during the off-season for a chance to promote the league in front of the biggest softball fans. Pride end regular season with a win

Kissimmee, FL—August 12, 2016—The USSSA Pride ended their regular season in the same way they started it: with a win. In their final game of the regular season, the Pride defeated the Akron Racers in a tight contest that ended in a score of 4-3.  The scoring started in the third inning. The Racers jumped out to a 2-0 lead thanks to a double from Sami Fagan. That double scored leadoff batter Taylor Schlopy and AJ Andrews, who was hit by a pitch in the second plate appearance of the inning. The Pride showed fight in the fourth. Team effort gets the win for the Pride

Kissimmee, FL—August 10—The USSSA Pride continued to display their seemingly insurmountable power on Wednesday night against the Akron Racers. Facing the Racers at the University of Notre Dame, the Pride won their 36th game of the regular season.  In the first inning cleanup hitter Lauren Chamberlain hit a two-run home run, giving the Pride a two-run lead and setting the mood for the game. Fast forward to the second inning, Pride veteran Kelly Kretschman hit a two-run homer of her own to make the score 4-0. It stayed that way until the sixth inning. Kissimmee, FL- August 9th-The USSSA Florida took game two against the Akron Racers with a 3-0 final Tuesday night. The game was called after five official innings due to lightning and rain in the area before the sixth inning could be completed and the four runs the Pride added in the top of the sixth were not recorded. Kissimmee, FL—August 5, 2016—The USSSA Pride and the Chicago Bandits faced off in a game for the ages, going deep into extra innings in the Bandits’ final home game of the regular season. The Bandits finally won in the 12th inning when Megan Blank hit a walk-off home run to score two and win the game 4-3. After the Pride dropped an avalanche of 13 hits on the Bandits in game two, there were 15 combined hits in tonight’s contest.
