USSSA Pride Players Continue Their Season in Japan

September 16, 2015- With the 2015 NPF season in the books most Pride players are working with USA Elite Select this fall, traveling all around the country to promote the sport of fast pitch. Other players have taken the coaching route but Pride players Natasha Watley, Keilani Ricketts and Megan Wiggins turn to the Japan Softball League to continue their off-season. These three, among other NPF players, such as Sarah Pauly, Monica Abbot and Jolene Henderson are overseas competing in an elite softball league following the conclusion of the 2015 NPF season. Pride Fall to Charge in Texas, 3-0


Sugarland TX – August 4, 2015 – Morgan Melloh fired a complete game 4-hit shutout Tuesday night at Constellation Field, lifting the Dallas Charge over the 1st place USSSA Pride 3-0. The southpaw struck out five and walked three.  She improved to 2-5 and dropped her ERA to 2.27. The Charge improved to 16-26, four full games ahead of PA Rebellion for the final spot in the NPF Championship Series in Hoover, Alabama.  Both teams have six games remaining in the regular season. EAST PEORIA, Ill. –July 30- Monica Abbott struck out 10 and tossed a two-hit shutout to power the Chicago Bandits to a 4-0 victory over the USSSA Pride in the four-game series finale Thursday night at EastSide Centre. The Pride Score 4 Runs in the Fourth to Beat the Racers 6-4


Kissimmee, FL- July 25-The USSSA Pride (27-10) edged the Akron Racers (16-18) by a score of 6-4 Friday evening at Champion Stadium. The Pride jumped out to an early lead in the second inning after Hallie Wilson led off with a bunt single and GiOnna Disalvatore followed with her fourth home run of the season to give the Pride a 2-0 lead. The fourth inning was a big inning for both squads with each notching four runs on four hits.
