Washington, PA- July 5, 2014 - The Pennsylvania Rebellion, presented by The Coury Financial Group, were defeated by the USSSA Pride and former USA Olympian Cat Osterman as she hurled a no-hit, no-run performance for the USSSA Pride. Rebellion starter Dallas Escobedo suffered the 7-0 defeat. The Pride tried to light up the scoreboard early in the top of the second when catcher Kristin Sandberg smacked a fly into deep left-center. USSSA Pride Defeat the PA Rebellion 5-2


Washington, PA-June 6, 2014 - Despite Dallas Escobedo’s second professional complete game, the USSSA Pride defeated the Pennsylvania Rebellion, presented by The Coury Financial Group, by a score of 5-2 Friday night at CONSOL Energy Park. The Rebellion didn’t waste any time getting on the board.  Third baseman Jenn Salling and shortstop Bianca Mejia both battled for walks to lead off the first inning.  With runners on base, catcher Taylor Edwards pulled an inside pitch down the left field line to score Salling. Connecting with Charters: The Pride visits with the Central Florida Sting


The USSSA Pride’s Ashley Charters and Jenn Salling paid a visit to the 14U Central Florida Sting just outside of Azalea Park, FL . Connecting with Charters: The Pride taking on the Raiders


The USSSA Pride was well represented by Ashley Charters, Francesca Enea, and Jenn Salling on their visit to Seminole State College of Florida Softball team. Seminole State College is known as the Raiders and are lead by head coach Courtney Miller and assisted by Jack Bitzer, Katie Field, and Bill Fields. The Raiders had one more practice day before they left for their championship tournament in Pensacola, Florida. Catching Up With the Pride: Ashley Charters


In June 2012, USSSA Pride Player Ashley Charters can enter her second NPF Season confident that she has proven herself within professional softball. Charters’ 2011 campaign was more than just successful.  She boasted  third-best numbers for  batting average and RBI league-wide in the regular season at .354 and twenty-six respectively.  The second baseman also tied for sixth-most homeruns in the league, hitting five in the 2011 season (Charters shared sixth place with her Pride teammate, Charlotte Morgan).
