Kissimmee, FL—August 12, 2016—The USSSA Pride ended their regular season in the same way they started it: with a win. In their final game of the regular season, the Pride defeated the Akron Racers in a tight contest that ended in a score of 4-3.  The scoring started in the third inning. The Racers jumped out to a 2-0 lead thanks to a double from Sami Fagan. Kissimmee, FL—August 10—The USSSA Pride continued to display their seemingly insurmountable power on Wednesday night against the Akron Racers. Facing the Racers at the University of Notre Dame, the Pride won their 36th game of the regular season.  In the first inning cleanup hitter Lauren Chamberlain hit a two-run home run, giving the Pride a two-run lead and setting the mood for the game. Kissimmee, FL—August 5, 2016—The USSSA Pride and the Chicago Bandits faced off in a game for the ages, going deep into extra innings in the Bandits’ final home game of the regular season. The Bandits finally won in the 12th inning when Megan Blank hit a walk-off home run to score two and win the game 4-3. After the Pride dropped an avalanche of 13 hits on the Bandits in game two, there were 15 combined hits in tonight’s contest. Pride drop second straight shut-out in 3-0 loss

Kissimmee, FL—August 3, 2016—The USSSA Pride dropped their second game in a row as they lost their series opener to the Chicago Bandits. Starting Pride pitcher Chelsea Thomas got the loss in the 3-0 decision while the Bandits starter Lacey Waldrop picked up the win. The Bandits put a runner on the bases in every inning, giving them plenty of opportunities to score runs. Errors were costly for the Pride in this contest.
