Kissimmee, FL –December 16, 2013- The USSSA Florida Pride, 2013 National Pro Fastpitch Champions, named Gerry Glasco as its Head Coach for the upcoming 2014 season. Glasco, currently the Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the University of Georgia, brings a wealth of experience on the offensive side of the ball with him to the Pride after helping UGA set over 20 offensive team records since the 2008-09 season. 2012 NCAA Softball Bracket Released

On May 13, the NCAA released their 2012 Division I Softball Championship bracket, announcing the regional line-ups for the Nation's top 64 softball programs, including the teams of all seven of our 2012 USSSA Pride Draftees. Draftee Valerie Arioto and her team, the number 1 seed Cal Bears will host Iona, Boston University, and Arkansas in the University.  Cal will face Iona on May 18 at 7 p.m.. SEC and SBC Honor Pride Draftees

Both the Southeastern Conference and the Sun Belt Conference have honored USSSA Pride Draftees, making their All-Conference player announcements today, May 8. The Pride's 12th 2012 NPF Draft pick, Michelle Moultrie of the University of Florida, was recognized as the 2012 SEC Player of the year.  Moultrie leads the SEC in both batting average at .395 and fielding percentage with a perfect 1.000.
