CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas –  The USSSA Pride faced off against the Akron Racers on a gorgeous night in Corpus Christi, TX in front of a massive crowd of 3,030. Danielle Lawrie(2-0) carried a 3-1 lead into the top of the 6th inning until Nicole Pauly singled home a run to make it a 3-2 ball game. Lawrie didn’t falter and she held on,  closing out the Racers to get a complete game victory and a Pride win. Connecting with Charters: The Pride taking on the Raiders

The USSSA Pride was well represented by Ashley Charters, Francesca Enea, and Jenn Salling on their visit to Seminole State College of Florida Softball team. Seminole State College is known as the Raiders and are lead by head coach Courtney Miller and assisted by Jack Bitzer, Katie Field, and Bill Fields. The Raiders had one more practice day before they left for their championship tournament in Pensacola, Florida.
