CORPUS CHRISTI – The USSSA Pride and Akron Racers split a doubleheader on the final day of the NPF Coastal Classic at Whataburger Field Saturday afternoon before 1,650. Game One Pride: 7 Racers: 5 Boxscore GiOnna DiSalvatore’s two-run single with two away in the bottom of the sixth was the difference in the Pride’s 7-5 triumph over Akron. Crowd of 3000 Watches Pride Edge Racers 3-2


CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas –  The USSSA Pride faced off against the Akron Racers on a gorgeous night in Corpus Christi, TX in front of a massive crowd of 3,030. Danielle Lawrie(2-0) carried a 3-1 lead into the top of the 6th inning until Nicole Pauly singled home a run to make it a 3-2 ball game. Lawrie didn’t falter and she held on,  closing out the Racers to get a complete game victory and a Pride win. USSSA Pride set to take on Akron Racers in Corpus Christi this weekend!


The USSSA Florida Pride are in Corpus Christi, TX for the weekend to take on the Akron Racers. The Pride are currently 1-3 after their series last week against the Chicago Bandits. The Racers are on a three-game winning streak after losing their opening game against the Carolina Diamonds. The two teams are set to face-off in a series of 4 games starting tonight at 7:05 PM CT. The second game will be tomorrow at 7:05 PM CT, and the final two will be a double header on Saturday starting at 5:35 PM CT.
