By: Jami Lobpries The 2015 National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) season kicked off with lots of buzz worthy news from expansion, league television deals, a star-studded draft and a big announcement from one of the all-time greats. By the end of the season, it was the USSSA Pride hoisting the regular season championship trophy for the second consecutive year and the fourth time in Pride history.   The 2015 National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) was once again a season full of hardware for the USSSA Pride. With one of their youngest rosters in their seven-year existence, the Pride used a combination of experience and youth to capture their second consecutive NPF regular season title. The Pride went 34-14 en route to their fourth NPF regular season championship. At the conclusion of the regular season, several Pride players were recognized for their individual achievements. Bandits Sweep Series to Win 3rd NPF Championship

By: Jarrod Johnson Hoover, Ala. – in two hours and one minute the Chicago Bandits defeated the USSSA Pride 1 to 0 to win the 2015 NPF Championship. Game 2 saw a rematch between Monica Abbott vs. Cat Osterman. For the second straight day it was errors that cost the Pride and Monica Abbott got the complete game shutout. Abbott received a scare in the second inning when Shelby Pendley just missed a home run off the left field wall. Abbott was able to settle down and get out of the inning.
