SUGARLAND, Texas – August 3- The USSSA Pride defeated the Dallas Charge, 6-2, in front of 2,121 fans at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, Texas.Cat Osterman earned the win, hurling a gem of a game, scattering five hits for 6.1 innings while striking out nine and allowing just one run. Kissimmee, FL- July 22- The Akron Racers (16-16) fell behind early before rebounding to pull out the 5-4 victory over the USSSA Pride (25-10) Wednesday evening at Champion Stadium. The Prides’ Madison Shipman split the middle infielders to lead off the second inning and Andrea Duran followed with a double down the left field line. Duran eventually scored on Brigette Del Ponte’s sacrifice fly, giving the Pride a 2-0 lead. USSSA Fend Off Late Comeback by Chicago

Kissimmee, FL - July 16th-Chicago (22-10) scored in the first and last innings but the night belonged to the USSSA Pride (22-8) as they defeated the Bandits 6-5 Thursday evening at Champion Stadium. Both teams started off the night swinging the bat well, as each team scored in the first frame. Chicago’s Amber Patton singled to left and two batters later Taylor Edwards gave the Bandits the 2-0 lead by bending her team-leading fifth home run of the season around the left field foul pole. Kissimmee, FL - July 15th- Chicago’s Monica Abbott tossed a one-hitter as the Bandits (22-9) shutout the USSSA Pride (21-8) 2-0 Wednesday night at Champion Stadium. Chicago jumped out to a 1-0 lead in their first at-bat on Vicky Galasso’s RBI single back through the middle, scoring Tammy Williams. The Bandits added another run in the next frame as Brenna Moss reached on a two-base overthrow by the Pride third baseman and was singled home by Emily Allard two batters later.
