Our very own Andi Williamson celebrated National Reading Month at her former primary school in her hometown of Harts, WV earlier this month. She also paid a visit to Justice Grade School in Logan, WV located about 30 minutes away from Harts Primary. For thirty years now February 3rd is a celebration of not only how far women in sport have come but a reminder to appreciate the opportunity that is given to all female athletes today. What started off as a day to recognize women’s sports nationally and commemorate a pioneer in the fight for equality gradually expanded to mean a lot more. USSSA Pride Head to Arizona State University to Begin Fall Tour

The first stop on the 2015 Pride Fall Tour is Arizona State University.

Kissimmee, FL- Tempe, Arizona marks the first stop for the USSSA Pride during their 2015 Fall Tour. In six days, the Pride will make an appearance at Arizona State University to compete against the Sun Devils in a friendly exhibition game. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 PM (PT) at Farrington Softball Stadium and will include former Sun Devil Amber Freeman playing against her alma mater. Racers’ Offense Edges Out the Pride, 5-4

Kissimmee, FL- July 22- The Akron Racers (16-16) fell behind early before rebounding to pull out the 5-4 victory over the USSSA Pride (25-10) Wednesday evening at Champion Stadium. The Prides’ Madison Shipman split the middle infielders to lead off the second inning and Andrea Duran followed with a double down the left field line. Duran eventually scored on Brigette Del Ponte’s sacrifice fly, giving the Pride a 2-0 lead. Abbott Gem Renders Pride Scoreless


ROSEMONT, Ill.- July 2, 2015 - Two nights ago, it was Cat Osterman who turned in a terrific performance in the circle for the Pride. Last night, it was Monica Abbott’s turn to deliver a gem for the Chicago Bandits. The Bandits ace tossed a complete game, three-hit shutout in a 7-0 victory, giving the Pride their first loss of the series. Keilani Ricketts, now 2-1, was charged with the loss after pitching the first four innings of the game.  Hannah Rogers would only see a portion of the 5th inning before Andi Williamson threw the final 1.2 innings in relief.
