ROSEMONT, Ill. – As the Bandits celebrated Fan Appreciation Night on the final home game of the 2011 regular season, both teams looked to go into the post season on a high note. Jamee Juarez started in the circle for the Bandits and Jordan Taylor for the Pride. ROSEMONT, Ill. -- With the score at 2-0 in the bottom half of the sixth inning in favor of the USSSA Florida Pride, the clouds above Rosemont Stadium opened up, causing a downpour and suspending the game. Through five innings, Pride pitcher Sarah Pauly tossed five scoreless while allowing just a Danielle Zymkowitz single. Osterman, Pride overwhelm Bandits

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Pride sent Cat Osterman to the circle after last night’s loss from Alisa Goler’s walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh. With Nikki Nemitz in the circle for the Bandits, the Pride came out swinging from the first batter of the game. Natasha Watley’s lead-off single set the tone for the rest of the game. Goler Walks Off; Drop Pride in 6-5 Loss

Rosemont, ILL- Alisa Goler has been chasing the season home run record of Stacy May-Johnson all season. With May-Johnson back in the dugout, Goler did her best impression of her new teammate, hitting a walk-off home run to give the Bandits a 6-5 victory. The blast capped off a 5-2 rally in the seventh inning. In her first game out of retirement, it didn’t take May-Johnson very long to acquaint herself with Rosemont Stadium.
