PROFESSIONAL: Amber was drafted 11th overall in the 2015 NPF College draft by the USSSA Pride out of Arizona.

COLLEGE: Ranks fourth in ASU career history with 55 home runs and fifth all-time in career RBI with 194. Her 45 career doubles rank 5th overall in ASU history. Freeman’s 2014 batting average of .424 is ranked 14th in single-season history for those receiving at least 75 at-bats.

Senior (2015): Named Capital One All-America Division I Softball Team (second year in a row), NFCA All-American, First Team Academic All-American and Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the Year. Finished her senior season with 79 hits in 181 at bats and ranked first on the team with a .773 slugging percentage. Through 51 games, had a team leading 70 hits and tied for the team-lead with 14 home runs.  Junior (2014): Named a First Team All-Conference member and a NFCA All-American. Sophomore (2013): The Pac-12 Softball Player of the Year, First Team All-Conference Honoree, First Team All-American and NFCA All-Region First Team. Freshman (2012): Pac-12 All-Conference Honorable Mention and Pac-12 All-Freshman Team. Named to Women’s College World Series All-Tournament Team after leading the tournament field with a .500 batting average.

PERSONAL: Born Amber Breana Freeman to Michael and Luanne Freeman.  Amber has one sister, Nicole. She is a four-year letter winner at Mater Dei High School and majored in Health Sciences at Arizona State.  Her hobbies include reading, working out and shopping.  A fun fact about Freeman is that she has a three-inch titanium screw in her left hip.
